Diff Checker
How to use the diff checker
Paste two versions of a text to see what changed between them. Pick Lines for code and config files, or Words and Characters for prose. Ignore case treats “Fox” and “fox” as equal, and Ignore whitespace skips changes in indentation and spacing.
FAQ
How do I compare two texts?
Paste the original text on the left and the changed text on the right. Removed parts are shown in red and added parts in green as you type.
What is the difference between line, word and character mode?
Line mode shows whole lines that changed, like git diff, and suits code and config files. Word and character modes highlight the exact words or letters that changed inside the text.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The comparison runs entirely in your browser, so the text never leaves your device.
